Gosick Episode 18-19 review My thoughts
This whole episode pretty much reminded me of Baccano with all the incidents happenings on the train, the use of guns, dagger/knife of some sort and suspicious characters. If only all that happens in a very slow pace, where it goes like them missing or dying one by one, I think it would have been more interesting that way. Nevertheless, being fast pace as it is has it’s own benefit as well because I don’t think Gosick has any more time to spare on these side characters.
Adorable Victorique in maid outfit aside, I guess I’ve expected too much with the black haired girl being the mastermind and the culprit and all. And probably going badass on the train this episode, but with some acquittance of hers of course. The mysteries last episode was just a very simple trick done by the old lady afterall. I actually thought that it’ll be dragged till this episode while not knowing that this episode introduces a whole new thing. It concluded very nicely overall. Couldn’t ask for more I guess.
What I was waiting to see for about half of the series, however, didn’t turn out to be a happy one afterall. And here am I, thinking that there could something nice about Albert that Cordelia likes. But probably betrayed, resulting in Cordelia running away from him afterwards. It was unfortunately not like that at all. Heck, Albert was probably the most inhuman antagonist of this winter anime season, or maybe of this year! His actions were sick and intolerable, definitely unforgivable.
Great job for Gosick to build up such a dickhead antagonist, I would say. It triggers rage on us audience so we’ll much more happy and relieve once he’s not breathing anymore. And that is, without a doubt, the job of Bryan Roscoe as I bet he has what it takes to do that. After seeing this heartbreaking back story, it also shows the insignificance of Kujou as I am now questioning at his role for this show.

This anime series is not that great but a good stress reliever at least for me. Suddenly On Another Realm?I don’t understand the storyline up until now. But in episode 5, the story suddenly change into another world, where the hero must save their comrades from evil winged soldier. However, the character design are re-use with assigned different role. Did you watch this series and did you understand the story? An Instant GirlfriendHave you been in this such a lucky situation where suddenly a girl that you never thought will be your girlfriend becoming your girlfriend? Fortunately, I have such luck during my high school. The Black Guy Shot and Alice (The Loli) CryThen the scenes going on to Dora, where the black guy who sale the accessories at the night market was shot. Together with him is Alice the kawaii little girl. When spotting Dora on the scene, Alice went to cry on Dora. What was happening? I don’t know. GretagardBoth the story, the high schoolers and Dora are moving towards into some conflicts about Gretagard. Gratagard is some country in other world which I still unclear about what and where is this place is. Dora was posessed by an evil soul claim to be the true heir of Gretagard while on the side of those high schoolers, they are deffending Princess Asuka. The Story Twisted AgainThe story twisted so much that it does not make any sense to me. Mo, I just take this series lightly and enjoy the good female characterisation after all. How about you? Review
Its still mainly about Shirayuki. Shirayuki episode that is. Kinji catch a cold after he take a swim in the ocean at night. For an instant, I thought it will be a scene where Kinji is being treated by the girls, sadly its a no. Aria gives the energy drinks to kinji and thats it. Shirayuki didn’t do much either. I was hoping more Shirayuki hospitality. Kinji cured after having a good rest. That was fast. The next day, he’s going to school again. Kinji and Aria having a quarrel because Aria still believe that Durandal exist. Kinji’s still playing hard on Aria because she still can’t prove it. She can tell by a pure instinct and not by research. Thats so not like Holmes. Kinji still can’t put faith in Aria… That evening, Kinji and Shirayuki is having a date!!! They’re going to watch hanabi, I mean fireworks. Shirayuki puts a nice Yukata(Japanese cloth). My heart skip a bit there. I never thought Shirayuki will be daring enough to request a kiss from Kinji. Well, it didn’t make it in the end. At the same time, Shirayuki get a threat e-mail from the enemy, related to Kinji safety. Again, the next day, Kinji really put his guard down on protecting Shirayuki, has let the enemy taking the advantage of it and he lost sight of Shirayuki. Good thing Reki still do her job pretty well. Kinji gets the info from Reki and head his way to enemy base. Kinji lose easily when he fight with the enemy. Without his hysteria mode, he’s prettty much like a normal person. Well, he is a rank E butei. Aria enters the fight and saves Kinji’s life. Good job Aria! Screenshots
My hopes for the next episode…
I really want to see the face of the criminals this time. Just like Detective Conan series, the culprit is always appears in black before they show the real identity. Thats funny. Well, that shows how the series giving a surprise to the fans. Erm, I would like to see how Kinji deals with this matter, meaning that more hysteria mode please. If that didn’t happen, I would like to see Shirayuki in action as well. For Aria, she’s already dong it well… Can’t wait for the next episode to be aired. Well, stay tune…

Shame on me. But the storyline itself is not clear and does not seems so important that I just take it easy for every episode up until now.
She’s just too beautiful to be dreamed of. Just wasting your time but the opposite happen where she is eager and just like in this anime series as if she’s the one who fall for me for so long.
