Today Danny post some interesting post on his blog, Culture Japan.

Well, it’s about Japan tradition of becoming 20 years old where they becoming new adult and they now will join the society and have the right to decide their own decision.

This event is called Seijin no Hi.

They also now can smoke, drink and vote. (SDV)

For some people this is a new interesting life turning point.

Oh, by the way don’t you think the SDV also can stand for sex, drink and vote? LOL!

It’s okay to talk about sex when you’re 20 don’t you think so?

In fact, you have to know about sex when you’re 20.

It is also ideal to get married at this age but a lot of culture of course did not encourage for you to get married as early as 20.

Well, enough of that.

Well, as Malaysian I don’t have that kind of celebration.

Summary

Dragon Crisis is about a boy named Kisaragi Ryuuji, a normal highschool student, having a peaceful life, suddenly turn upside down when his second cousin, Nanao Eriko bring him involve and steal the relic item or Lost Precious from some sort of underground organization called “Fang“. When Ryuuji and Reiko have their hand on the item, they’ve been chased by the mafia. During the pursuit, the box is accidentally open and the reveal the relic item?! Well, actually it is a girl in that box. The girl is not an ordinary girl. She happens to be a dragon! The escape was a success with the help of the dragon. After escaping from the mafia, they went to Ryuuji place. After that, Ryuuji named her Rose because of the shape of dragon scale that she had at her hand that really look like rose. It seems that Rose like Ryuuji. Rose learn human language while watching television. One of the fact reveal, which is Dragon can transform into a human form when they get old enough to do so.

Personal Impression

I personally think that this anime has a good start. Good selection of voice actors or also known as seiyuu also take an important roll on the success. For example, Rose is voiced by famous loli seiyuu, Kugimiya Rie. For the song, the opening theme seems to be interesting and very unique and not typical type song. For the ending theme, nothing much to say.Its rather normal and typical…. The OST is original and very matched with the situation. Seems that this anime world setting is about supernatural power. Magic can be used and also mythical creature also exist such as dragon. By the way, for some reason almost all human hate dragon. For the story line for this episode, it seems that it is the beginning of the new adventurous life for Ryuuji and it will be a blast. Well, if you watch this episode, it seems like Rose really like Ryuuji very much… Eriko also really close as if they are siblings. She hug Ryuuji like her brother and it seems that she miss him. And the other girl named Misaki also seems to be in love with Ryuuji. As much as i can say, this is harem. Dragon power from Rose is rather interesting. Eriko mention that it is more valuable than S class Lost Precious. That means very powerful. For this episode, a lot of fan service shown which makes it more attractive to watch it. As for other character, maybe will be introduce in the next episodes. Magic can be use by human. while stealing and also escaping from the “Fang“, Eriko use some sort of magic which is red butterfly magic and a green light particle magic. That sure look flashy. As for Rose, it seems that she can learn a human language in just one night with the help of television. That is so unreal.

As much as I can say, this anime is good and it is interesting to watch. It is really worth to watch although sometimes you will feel like all of the things happen are too sudden and hard to understand at the beginning. Well, the unanswered questionwill be solve as the story progress.
