Hisashiburi mina. In this post I will sum up Moshidora episode 1 until episode 5 in this one post. Definitely not a walk through. No spoiler. (Perhaps there’s a bit.) But it will be more about my opinion on this anime series.

Before we start anything, let’s watch the greeting from the seiyus of Moshidora. I bet you know who are they!

Moshidora was the first in my watching list. It’s not that I put so much hope for it but I’m really looking forward for it. Well probably it was because of the seiyu centric in me which like Yoko Hikasa and Kana Hanazawa that I decide not to miss this one. Well how about you?

I Was In Softball Club In My High School

Softball is actually a baseball. But because the field is smaller and the pitching style is “soft” it is called softball. But sadly I am not in any important position but just a regular member.

Now thinking back during my high school time, Softball club in my school have the same storyline with Keion bu where the club are about to be dismissed because we don’t have enough member. But we manage to find members and all of us are freshman.

When I look at Moshidora synopsis, it said it was about baseball. I straightly decide I’m gonna watch this anime series.

The Most Genius Anime Series In This Season

I really like to watch anime series where people work with their brand and make a different. A long the line with this are those titles such as Code Geas, Detective Q, Death Note and lots more. There’s also some manga which don’t have their anime series that I like but I happen to forget its name.

But of course I would definitely prefer moe-blobs like K-ON! over these genius anime series.

About Peter Drucker, The Management Book Used In Moshidora

His full name is actually Peter Ferdinand Drucker. Sound like Dracula isn’t it? He is indeed a real life human character which adopted into this anime character. Real life historical person. Real life great thinker and yes the father of management.

After doing some investigation on my own, I found the real management book used by Minami in Amazon. And yes I will buy and use it for my wisdom too.

Characters Design

The characters design is good.

Not too good but surprisingly, Minami is kinda “yummy” looking to me. I don’t know why. Maybe it turns me on to see how a tomboyish girl turns out to be this girlish.

Or… the real reason behind is because the seiyu was Yoko nee-san.

Looking at Ayano reminds me of Yuuno from MM! But I like Yuuno more.

Just for your information, MM! author have passed away recently and you can read it from this post.

The Storyline

The storyline is “okay daio“.

Now I can’t wait to find my time to watch for episode 6. Tomorrow? For your information who did not watch Moshidora, it is aired everyday not every week like ordinary anime series. So while it mean I don’t have to wait for long to watch the next episode it also mean the Moshidora season will gone quickly. But wait! They also have the live action movie to compensate this lost. I will post about Moshidora live action movie on other post. For lurker, just make sure you subscribe to ONE-Precinct | Another World news letter so that you will not miss a thing.

Personal Impression

Summary

The title is first mission. There is a bus hijacked this time. As expected, Butei killer is behind all of these. Aria responsible for this mission taken Kinji along with her. Kinji miss the bus because of the magnetic interference that cause the clock to be late. So, he walk to school. After a while, Aria call him and the mission begins immediately. There’s an unmanned car equipped with sub-machine gun follows the bus in order to keep the student to not try anything funny. Well, it shoot everything inside the bus two times. Apparently all of the student inside the bus is wearing the school uniform that is bullet-proof. So they’re just slightly injured. The bus driver on the other hand is down after receiving a shot from the car. Aria and Kinji tried to save the day, but due to Kinji careless mistake, they failed to do so. Reki save the days by shooting the bomb holder under the bus thus save them all…

In order to have at least once fan-service in each episode, Riko taken one… She pulls an arcade ticket from her cleavage and gives it to Kinji. I think Kinji is such a lucky guy. Well, of course kinji took a peak as well… ^^

Hoping the Leopon taken to custody, Aria really tries her best to get the stuff animal from the arcade. She can’t get it after a several try. Kinji get two of the Leopon in one shot for Aria. This shows that Kinji lucks with girls are just too amazing. He can be the coolest guy in girls eye. Aria is kinda cute when she put her face like that.

Such an intense bus hijacking, they have been shoot by a sub-machine gun without any warning. In the real life situation, everybody should have been panicking and there would be people die. In this anime, everybody remains calm and no one died. They well trained so thats why they still breathing…

For a girl who is still underage is no problem to drives a car. Anime world is really convenient and works in their favor. Whoever is under Butei and having the proper training, your allowed to do so. Well, a loli drives a car, what so bad about it?

Aria searching for bomb

Aria searching the bomb under the bus and she found it. She is a pro. To be an S rank butei and top student in assault department, this work is nothing special. She is a perfectionist. She even think what if she couldn’t make it, so she hire some people to finished the job…

Reki is hired by Aria if things gone wrong. She shoot the bomb holder and makes the bomb fall down to the river. The bomb explode afterwards. this scene shows that a lot of amazing people in Butei assault department. Reki is one of them and she looks awesome with the sniper rifle. She is a kuudere, a quite type characters. A job well done… ^^

They broke up after all of those action and a breathtaking moment between life and death situation. Aria and Kinji argued with each other and as for the conclusion, they broke up. Kinji that really hates her special gift really gives Aria a hard time as well. As for Aria, she really didn’t explain anything to Kinji on whats happening to her and what’s her agenda in lack of time that she claimed. Well lets hope the next episode, there will be some explanation take place though…

Expectation?!

Well, I’m expecting there will be more explanation to come on Aria’s problem. I hope Kinji will use his ability more frequently in order to save people. Without it, Kinji can’t do it right, he almost got shot but with enough time, Aria made it to saves him but she’s injured in returned. Kinji should redeem himself on his mistakes and stubbornness acts. More explanation on Butei killer might helps as well…

Lets hope more Hidan no Aria has more (action, comedy and romance) to come in the future…

Month Of Touhou: The Prelude To Chaos Vol. 000

Welcome to the descent into madness. Don’t worry, it will not be as terrible as you think. It will be worser than that…

If you are reading this post that must mean you either:

1.) Looking forward to my Month Of Touhou
2.) Curious and looked anyway…
3.) Want to correct me and ridicule for this attempt of educating the mass of readers about Touhou.
4.) All of the above or actually, none of it. You just like showing up regardless.

Whatever the reason, I welcome you one all to this month of what is known as “Touhou”. In this month (that will be expanded into summer months at some point) I will be covering and educating you on everything Touhou and the series as the whole. That means NOTHING is off limits and you heard me right NOTHING! Everything from music, doujins, events, games, and anything else in between.

“How will you start this post off” you ask? Simple. I decided on several methods of how to best make the world of Touhou clear and what better way to make you watch a video first. Yeah, I am serious. A video. You will see why after you watch it and if you have before, you are already half-way there…

*Note: This video, in regards to the games are slightly out of date. However, this fact is already pointed out.

Don’t worry, we still have three months to explore the series, so we are just getting started. Join me next time as we proceed to Vol. 00 as I systemically break down what you already know and rebuilt that knowledge.

#Note: As aforementioned due to my own circumstances and be able to keep this project on track, the month of Touhou has been expanded into both June and July. In addition, as also mentioned, Touhou month will resume between the second and third week of May.
