Hanasaku Iroha Episode 1 = Pity Ohana T_T

Ohana, she’s just 16 years old and carefree. She wish for a dramatic change in her life and guess what she get what she asked but it turns out not to be sweet dramatic as what she was expected.

Problematic Single Mom

The problem, (yes! I would say it’s a problem) start from Ohana’s mother which plan to runaway with her boy friend. At first Ohana was excited. She thought she was going to join the fun but it turns out that she will be left alone with her grandmother which does not in good term with her mom.

An Old Woman Who Give Out Candy?

Ohana have great expectation for her grandmother to be sweet, loving just like an old woman who give out candy to little girls. But it turns out that her grandmother was an evil dictators who manage an inn. Ohana was then forced to work since the first minutes she met her grandmother and no one there beside her.

Bow Down Your Head, You Are My Slave!

Well, I think that’s how it suppose to work in this inn. I just know how it feel where a single mistakes could lead to scolding, slapping, and punishment. Guess what, there was indeed a slapping action in this anime. Oh my… Poor Ohana she was slapped. It was different when we watch shonen anime. It’s just normal to see a slap, kick and punches… even to a little girl. But in this genre, I was really shocked! The emotional touch struck me as if I’m Ohana… Ah Poor little Ohana.

She Come To Be Loved Not To Become a Servant!

At the end of the episode Ohana’s monologue said that,

I’m don’t come here to work!

I can understand how’s Ohana feeling, really. So what happen in next episode… Let’s us wait together and hope for a better day for Ohana.

Seiyu

Something attract my attention, two of the character was voiced by a well known seiyu. They are Aki Toyosaki and Haruka Tomatsu. Look forward to enjoy this series more! Gambaru yo! Ohana!

Well, they are not voicing Ohana but other character, Nako and Yuina.
