This week figures of the week featuring Hatsune Miku from Vocaloid, Aragaki Ayase from Ore No Imouto Ga Konna Ni Kawaii Wake Ga Nai and also Kasugano Sora from Yosuga No Sora.

Let’s see them.

This figure is awesome. I’ve pre-ordered the Figma version which also awesome look of Miku. This figure has started to accept pre-order since 10th of June 2011 and will be released in October 2011.

Enjoy a special discount when you place your pre-order today. You can find more information about placing the pre-order by clicking this link.

Beside that we also have;

Figma Aragaki Ayase

She’s that popular? I like Oreimo anime series but I just never put any attention to Ayase. I only set my eyes on Kirino and also Kuroneko.

However her Figma look awesome enough to be featured in this figures of the week.

Her face expression is fair enough compare to Figma Kirino but I still fancy Kirino more. Oh wait! I can collect all of them. That will be a good complete set. Kirino needs friend anyway.

This Figma already accepting pre-order from 14th of June 2011 and will be released on October 2011. Find out more about the pre-order from this link.

Kasugano Sora Alter Version

One more time Sora have made me shout “Wow!” in my heart. Well, I can’t shout in real world or people will look at me and think I am weird.

This another version of Sora from Yosuga No Sora featuring her in another clothes and for those who love Sora should get it. You can find Sora in only her swim suit here.

Newscreen (19/06/11)

Quite a lot of news coming from this week including a lot of anime adaption announcements and some hilarious little tidbits from 2chan and various other internet sources. On more serious news a seiyuu has recently passed away (minor details below) and Japan is recovering at a steady pace from the crisis that occured a few months ago.

Anime

Slightly old but incredibly important, Shakugan no Shana has been announced for a season 3! For all you loli-tsundere Rie Kugimiya worshipers (me) out there! Get ready for some more “urusai urusai urusai urusai!” coming this Autumn season of anime!

A new anime by the name of Mobile Suit Gundam AGE has been announced in a recent presentation! More information on characters, seiyuu, etc. Can be found here: http://gigazine.net/news/20110613_gundam_age_mecha_chara_staff/

Japanse anime studio ufotable has been working closely with Animage in their most recent release to provide some interesting news on their upcoming 20 minute short film: 桜の温度 lit. The Temperature of Sakura.

The adaption of the visual novel Mav-Luv Alternate Total Eclipse with cute female protagonist design has been announced although the director is the same for that of Rosario to Vampire so it is worrying as to whether or not this will be just purely fanservice or actually have a solid plot.

Seeing off Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu‘s popular reception, alongside the second season to be airing next (summer) season, a spin-off anime has also been announced under the name Sore ga Bokura no Nichijou.

Artwork

Just as a little 2chan fun, people have been noticing Misaka and her interesting gain in weight with the above image, and of course, 2channlers are not satisfied with such a drawing. w

In a recent review by Nattoli, the Katanagatari Visual Book is covered where the beautiful landscapes and character designs are gone into much detail of explanation. Enjoy here.

Music

Just a quick update from last week’s post, it seems like apart from V3 being released, there will also be new Vocaloids in Korean, Chinese and…Spanish? It also looks like there will be a lot of new vocaloids coming, with voices from idols and voice actors to singers. More details about the news from the event can be found here: http://www.vocaloidism.com/2011/06/16/vocaloid3-new-features-and-voicebanks/

[via @Cowboybibimbop] It seems nano.RIPE, having done a lot of the insert songs and the opening for Hanasaku Iroha, will also be doing the second opening for the second half of the 24 episode length anime.

Figures

A few nice releases from GSC, we have a really cute Puchitto Rock Shooter Support Version that was made based off the Miku Hatsune Support Version used to raise money for the Japan Earthquake/Tsunami. Do something charitable and add to your collection by buying one!

Nice and manly lecturer Kamijo Touma from To Aru Majutsu no Index Season I & II has been released with his uniform lines looking very similar to Araragi’s figma. Take a look here.

A wonderful and surprisingly lacking eroticism figure of Kasugano Sora from Yosuga no Sora has been manufactured by ALTER. Who, might I say, has increasingly impressive figure quality. Quite a recommended buy!

GSC has hilariously decided to include a full-face shot of Kyubey (also known as QB) from Madoka Magica for the panel of a Soft Vinyl Figure. Take a lookhere before it gets pushed off the screen (2011/07)!

Games

The much much much awaited opening animation for the soon-to-be-released and now pre-ordable BRS RPG on the PSP has been released, enjoy the news and watch here: 1 2.

Quite an interesting game that I am awaiting release is 7th Dragon 2020 which was originally on the DS but is soon to be released on the PSP with a different play style. The thing that caught my eye I must say are the names for the different classes and the solid-line drawings for the characters!

The trio of wonderful seiyuus has been revealed for Atelier 3 where characters will feature the voice work from Kaori Nazuka (SKET Dance‘s Yagi Kaoru of the student council), Akira Satomi (Softenni‘s Kurusu-chan) and Mai Kadowaki (Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi‘s Toudou Kasane)!

[via @Cowboybibimbop] An Ika Musume Fishing Game has been released on the iTunes store! Find it here (Japan Region) and have your 15 minutes of fun~

People

We give our condolences to quite a popular seiyuu who has recently passed away: Kawakami Tomoko. She has starred in many various anime but a striking one for me personally would be her considerably important role as Athena Glory from the Aria series.

Miscellaneous

K-On with it’s increasing popularity both overseas and pre-existing in Japan is going somewhat intense with their merchandise and are now even releasing special train tickets to Demachiyanagi Station and College Station. They have tickets with specific characters according to your route chosen or even a full ticket with all characters for a single day all-rounder. As can be seen through this Gigazine post, the reception is indeed quite heavy and K-On fans have filled the stations lining up especially for those tickets. Now the reason for all of this is to help ship fellow otakus over to the K-On roadshow which aired on the 12th of March this year!

Quite a bit of Madoka Magica merchandise you can bring with you to the sea. Just make sure you don’t by the Charlotte rubber ring or else you’ll be eaten! Also some interesting promotion from Japan’s convenience store: Lawson.

A festival was held for the anime IS: Infinite Stratos on the 5th of June where the seiyuus came to talk to their fans and do a live dubbing of a certain scene from various episodes including the famous beach fanservice episode! The festival ended with a concert of course and then many thanks from the Seiyuus to supporting fans.

Regarding Japan’s current earthquake situation, it seems that they have recovered majorly from what it used to be a few months ago. Rejoice here.
