This week there isn’t much mind-blowing news except for the possibility of a Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu Season 3 and Shinryaku?! Ika Musume (Season 2) having been confirmed. Lots of game and figure release news along with some Vocaloid coverage. Enjoy!

Anime

Slightly shady information suggests a Haruhi Season 3! We are getting excited already!

Shinryaku?! Ika Musume Season 2 has officially been confirmed and is now in production. Source here.

BONES, the epic studio in charge of Gosick and Star Driver have been confirmed to be working on Towa no Quon. What great content shall we see from this series especially now that Iida Umanosuke has passed away and therefore will not be giving any direction on how it should work out as an anime?

Manga

Credit to @HaquaHerminium for explaining the news, the same author for To Aru Majutsu no Index, Kamachi Kazuma, has released his new manga,Heavy Object and aims to finish this earlier so that he can merge it with Index. Original post here.

Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu light novel is ranked 1st in sales with To Aru Majutsu no Index trailing behind by less than 20 thousand copies. While Infinite Stratos has sold a ridiculous 23.4 Million in the first half of this year.

Figures

Wonderful photo of To Love-Ru’s Momo Figure at the 24th Prize Fair. Other figures also on display can be seen here.

Danny Choo has released more coverage of the Good Smile Company 10th Anniversary figure collection that was put on display.

2chan’s translated reactions to Madoka Magica’s figma release.

Sengoku Nadeko Scale Figure resale and Hachikuji Mayoi sale has started this week.

Black Rock Shooter nendoroid has received so much success that a cheering version of it may be released (Similar to the Miku Hatsune Support Version). As seen on GSC’s most recent Nico Live broadcast.

Gaming

More game screens have been released for Meruru no Atelier - Arland no Renkinjutsushi 3, release on June 23rd, 2011.

Hilarious Catherine ESRB rating description can be read here. Somewhat unrelated but great nonetheless.

E3 coverage includes wonderful screens and trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2 (Second part of Final Fantasy 13), more information here.

Steins;Gate‘s PSP release opening single, Uchu Engineer (Lit. Space Engineer) by Itou Kanako is to be released on the 22nd of June.

Music

Personally not too keen on english Vocaloid releases, Moetron has some coverage on Miku and Kaito’s progress although the only english Miku song I’ve (Hitagi) enjoyed would be Infection Waves and that would only be because of the instrumental.

Two new Vocaloids have been released recently. Interestingly enough, Mika from Daisy x Daisy (the band responsible for Evidence, Fairy Tail’s most recent opening) will be providing the voice for the female (character right) vocaloid.

People

Who is your favorite AKB48 girl? Do you even listen to AKB48 songs? If so here’s the girl (Yuko Oshima) who has been rated no. 1 out of the rest, quite a feat.

Miscellaneous

Good Smile Company’s cafe in Akihabara has recently received a makeover for Madoka Magica, take a look at some first person coverage here!
