Hobbycon 2010 Day 1 |
| Posted: 13 Dec 2010 02:11 AM PST  Hobbycon Participants Hey, ryo_kun here. Few days ago a friend of mine told me there was this cosplay show going around which intrigued me. Surprisingly, it was held on the same place, same time every year and I didn’t know that. This event was held at City Mall, Kota Kinabaly Sabah. I’ve got more pictures to share. So are you interested? I initially thought that this event would solely focus on cosplays. But no, Hobbycon is about hobbies and there was actually a Tekken competition happening at the same time. But the main event where everyone would be focusing at is the cosplay event. Cosplay participants were not only walking around waiting for people to take pictures with them, they had to perform as well. Here are the pictures for the event, enjoy!  oh my...the humongous wing!  dawn of war marines! i like their suit  i have no idea what character are these...  Mio! and...?  Maka from Soul Eater!  It's chiiii!  cool costume! :D  lol...kamen rider...  =)  I think she's the prettiest among the participants ...=)  his mother was there to support him..how nice..  i like their suit..=)  yuna and some characters..  yuna~  lightning's sister i guess..  oh look! it's edward from FMA  Edward and an unknown character..  OMFG! IT'S PEDOBEAR!  lol...  mio~  oh look, it's suzumiya haruhi!  :D  he had problems going up the stairs..haha.. i literally mean it..  for the emperor!!  i have to say....his performance was quite amazing..=)  i think it's michiko..  apparently her song wasn't anime related.. =(  Allen walker singing...kinda hard to imagine..  :D  This guy performed beat box, it was very impressive...=D  they're very funny...you guys should see their performance!  Shugo chara's Amu Hinamori~  if only she was cuter...=(  The award ceremony~  The award ceremony  The award ceremony~  And a group photo before they end the event..=)  yeah, more group photo..  =) Overall it was quite an awesome event, but honestly speaking, I was hoping for some hot chicks to show up ; apparently there aren’t any of them So in the end, the dawn of war marine guy took the first place followed by Maka getting the first-runner up and Haruhi getting the second-runner up. Congratulations for the winners! :happy: Anyway, all these pictures were given to me from my friend so all credits goes to him So until then, stay tuned for Hobbycon Day 2! |
