Ryo kun’s Top Anime Characters Part 1

The following list of characters are my favorite characters from various animes I watched.. well at least for now…

Some tough decisions were made to make up this favorite list but oh well… we’ll start of with my

Favorite Male Shonen character

"Fire fist" ace from One Piece

A loving brother to our main character Luffy, also loved by most of his friends and crew members, he was first introduced in the first half of the story for One Piece playing the role of hunting someone named Blackbeard. While Blackbeard and his crew were first mentioned to have destroyed a whole town(chopper’s town) by themselves, Ace was to hunt such a formidable person, so by that time i guess we were somewhat given the idea how strong Ace is

I really liked the way he was feared by most of the pirates, plus the whole idea of him going on an adventure to hunt someone is what really make him a special character for me. It’s really cool, well at least for me.. On top of that, he’s so creative with his fire powers as you can see from his fight with Blackbeard. And i really liked it when he used his final move, ” Dai Enkai!! Entei!! ” . Though if it weren’t because of the darkness fruit, surely he wouldn’t have lost.

Sadly though, he lost to Blackbeard and was being taken to Marineford. And was dead right after losing to Akainu, at the same time protecting his brother, Luffy . That moment made my eyes teary as i watch my favorite character die. Though in my heart, Ace will always be my best character and i’m sure he’s able to pawn Akainu. R.I.P Ace

Favourite Female Shonen character

Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail

From the past shonen mangas i’ve watched, main female leads are usually useless, weak and need to be protected. They usually have an affection towards the main male leads and most of the time being around with the male leads EVEN during the fights, only to cause nuisance – which is very typical and annoying . But our hot chick Erza here, is not like that.

With her strict and serious attitude, she’s easily my favorite female lead. Not to mention she has strong sense of justice as well. In other words, you can say she’s "女强人" (strong woman LOL there’s no particular translation for it) in chinese.

Furthermore, i like her magic as well – the ability to change any armor and sword she desire, well sort of. With her armor she could counter most of the mages’ magic, especially element type. Besides that, she has a wide variation of weapons to choose from, which is really amazing and also the reason she’s considered as a strong S-class mage in Fairy Tail. Not to mention she’s very pretty as well. I like her character design.

It is the attitude and ability that makes her different from other female leads. Not like a certain character from *cough* Bleach *cough* that shouts “ICHIGO ICHIGOO!!” whenever he’s fighting…

ops...too many fanservice pictures..making her not as awesome as i mentioned..haha

Favorite Male Romance character~

Kazehaya from Kimi ni Todoke

First of all, he is what i call, a perfect male lead for a romance anime show. Because based on my experience in watching romance animes(though not so many), the male leads, in certain situations, having lewd thoughts or doing indecent things(though most of the time accidentally) but Kazehaya was shown to have none of these traits which is why I like him and I think he’s very pure-hearted .

Besides that his character and role in the show was very pleasant. The way he treated Kuronuma was so nice and i like every bit of their interactions. And you can see from their interactions that Kazehaya is very pure . Also, i like the way he help Kuronuma so that she’ll be accepted by everyone in the class – which is very sweet and cute. With his kind and loving attitude, it’s not surprising that every girl in the school will fall for him.

Favourite Female Romance Character~

Kyou from Clannad series

Wow..this was a tough decision indeed..as the other two candidates for this title were Nagisa from the same series and Taiga from Toradora . Kyou route was always and forever will be the route that I prefer for this show, neglecting the After Story part for Nagisa of course. Though the anime version, from what I heard was quite short, nevertheless it was still nice.

First of all, what i like the most is her character design as it is stunning! Her beauty was top notch and not many can reach her level Meanwhile, she’s quite athletic as she can play basketball as good as Tomoya and Sunohara which is really amazing. Not to mention she can throw dictionaries very hard. I like strong girls .She had some priceless moments for this show. Especially at Episode 17 (wow i still remember) when she was stuck with Tomoya in the gym room(**** him for that.. I was so jelous!)

this is so hawt..

All these were solely based on my own opinion but you could still tell me yours Anyhow, there’s more to come though…stay tuned for part 2
