One Piece Chapter 606!

Here are my thoughts for this chapter. As usual, don’t proceed if you don’t wish to be spoiled.

Amazing chapter this week, pretty funny as well. I notice everytime when a new arc starts, especially when they’re on their way to their new destination, Oda tends to insert lots of scenery porn for the viewers. Except, this time, I’m not sure is it only me or this arc contains too many of them as I really hope they get to Fishman Island as soon as possible. But, on the bright side, this shows that Oda has done his research and not just simply make things up. And this is what makes him a superior author compare to others.

We can see that from this chapter, even without the monster trio around, Franky is quite dependable, which is really incredible. And looks like he did some upgrade for Thousand Sunny; there’s even lights for it too. Oh, not to mention the “little coup de burst” , which is very convenient and fuel-saving at the same time.

What could have been more worse than the monster trios gone missing and potential dangers that lurks around the deep sea? At that moment, I thought Oda has just made the plot more interesting by making Caribou went missing. I thought the Starw Hats were goners for a second there! As I’ve mentioned in the previous review, Caribou might just wipe them out, assuming the remaining Straw Hats haven’t learn any Haki. Looks like I was wrong and it was damn funny when Franky found where Caribou is hiding! Yet again, this proves that Franky is still very trustworthy crew mate even without the monster trios around. And I really like him this chapter!

But seriously, if Caribou wasn’t that stupid, his plans could have succeed .

It was very funny as well when Franky send nipple light signals to the sea devil . But as soon as the sea devil shows up, an Umibozou showed up and began punching him. I thought it was San Juan Wolf for a second there. Truly a weird and ugly species…ugh… Also, Umibozou mentioned someone named Captain Van Der Dekken and I was really intrigued by it. I hope we get to see who he actually is.

Besides that, I thought Oda will let the crew reunite again once they get to Fishman Island! Looks like I was wrong again, and didn’t expect them to reunite so soon. Also, the Kraken was really tamed by Luffy with his King’s Haki. Man…I have to say, Luffy is really amazing. His haki ability allows him to make fully use of his environment. I mean, he can make any dangerous animals around him to become his ally. Above all that, the reason Luffy didn’t have a hard time to find where the crew or Zoro and Sanji are, is because he can detect them with his haki! Wow… truly a formidable ability there.

Looks like the Straw Hats will face some serious problem next week, an undersea volcano that is. Without coup de burst, could they survive?!

Predictions

As i’ve mentioned previously, I’m really curious as to who Captain Van der dekken is, my guess is he is either a real ghost or a fishman, or some species that can survive this deep sea. And I think they will somehow survive the volcano and move on to Fishman Island!

Okay, today we have Milky Holmes in our blog.

Tantei Opera Milky Holmes is actually a media franchise owned by Bushiroad, Japan a trading card game company.

This series took place and time in futuristic age where we will never exist. Obviously, we will never exist inside an anime world.

Fun Facts

The character in this anime series are “inspired” by famous investigation story such as Sherlock Holmes, Nero Wolfie, Hercule Poirot and also Cordelia Gray! All the famous detective are gathered here in this anime series. I wonder how it will turns out. I have not watch the anime series.

Tantei Opera Milky Holmes

Plot

The story is about detective. Yeah it is.

Once in a blue moon. I mean in the futuristic world, each of us will have our own unique “toys“. This toy function is different and unique for every human being.

So there was a detective agency, Opera Kobayashi which consist of Milky Holmes.

There are four kawaii girls in Milky Holmes which have their own unique toy. Together they solve many mystery using their team work power and also of course… their toys.

But one day, their toys have gone missing. What will happen to them now?

Main Characters

Sherlock Shellingford

Sherlock Sheryl Shellingford

A very bright girl. Even though she is very active and always “do things with her hands” she is very intelligent and always solve problems with her intelligent.

She have a toy which gave her a telekinesis ability. Telekinesis ability is an ability to move things just by thinking. She can also interact with animals.

Nero Yurisaki

A very aktive girl!

She investigate not using her brain but her feet!

In her cap and her pocket, there will be always a sweet for her to chew on.

She have a toy which gave her the ability to control machine.

She’s a little bit tomboyish and talk in masculine manner “boku”.

Hercule Barton

She is a girl who like to read books and talk less in the group. But she try her best to become a detective.

She is also very shy and easily get embarrassed which remind my of Mio Akiyama…

She have a toy which gave her a superhuman strength! Someone we should not mess up with….

Cordelia Glauca

She is the eldest in the group, hence she always act like onee chan… But then, sometimes she lose control too. Beside of that, she also have achluophobia which is fear of darkness.

She have a toy which give her the ability to hear and see what others cannot hear nor see.
