Infinite Stratos episode 6 review

Chapter: My Roommate is a Blond Gentleman

Summary

Starting with training class, Ichika being thought by the three girls which are Fan Rinin, Cecilia Alcott and Shinonono Houki. Ichika doesn’t understand much about it. Charles Dunoa enter the scene and request to Ichika to sparring with him as he also own an IS. Without thinking much, Ichika accept his challenge and start to fight. Ichika loose because of his IS which is Byakushiki is not compatible in range fight. Then, Charles teach him about IS after that. Suddenly, they have been interrupt by the transfer student, Laura Bodewig. Laura shoot at Ichika but blocked by Charles as he protect Ichika on the spot. After the fight being settle, while Ichika going to his dorm, he coincidently see Chifuyu and Laura having a talk. Ichika overheard the conversation. Ichika went back to the dorm and heard Charles taking a shower. Being kind, Ichika offer a body soap for him because there are no more body soap left. After that scene, Ichika knows that Charles is actually a girl and she confess everything and about her past as well. The main purpose of Charles transfer is to steal Ichika’s data. Ichika offers his help and try to cheer her after her confession. They being interrupt by Cecilia as she drag Ichika out for dinner. When Ichika being escort by Cecilia, Houki also joining them for dinner. After taking dinner, he take the food for Charles as well. Ichika helps Charles taking her dinner. The episode ends with Laura showing her eye that she has covered it for some reason…

Personal Impression

My Roommate is a Blond Gentleman. I think it is more to My Roommate is a delicate Blond Girl. During the first scene, Ichika and Charles having a spar. Ichika loses badly as he never lands a hit to Charles. Charles shows what she’s capable off. She is an amazing fighter as she adapt with her opponent style and defeat Ichika in a long range fight. Being interrupt by Laura during the lesson, Charles defend Ichika from being shot by Laura. This shows that Charles start to develop mutual feeling towards Ichika. Charles is the main Fan-service for this episode. There are several scene which revealed her lovely white skin to the viewer including BATH SCENE!!! Laura on the other hand showing more and more hatred towards Ichika and the academy. She is very persistent as well as she try to convince Orimura Chifuyu to go back to Germany to become her instructor and off course rejected. She somehow has a different eye that she always cover and i think she is like some sort of super soldier from some random facility in German. Ichika seems to be cared when it comes to helping people. After Charles confess everything, Ichika really want to help Charles to escaped from her father’s order and he will defend for her(like her knight of shining armor). Well, who can resist a cute girl request… Well for the preview of the next episode, there is an intense fight happen between Laura, Rin and Cecilia. Ichika and Charles also will be in action. Well, stay tune for the next episode of Infinite Stratos.
