Japanese Cultural Night and Bon Odori Posted: 22 Oct 2011 01:05 AM PDT This event took place just last Saturday evening at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). It was organized by the UMS Japanese Cultural Club (JCC). Member of the club consist of undergraduate student from the university. It’s main purpose was to expose students to Japanese culture and at same time having fun. This year, the main event took place outside the Canselor hall instead of inside. There were many activities going on such as singing and dancing performances, martial art, cosplay, various booths selling food, games and not to be miss the Bon Dance. I took part in the bon dance for the first time with my Yukata, it was really fun. Here’s some of the photos taken.
