Yeeeeeeeeeesss! Yes! Yes! Yes! Himari’s alive. But her condition is weak as she’s lying, resting in bed. Hope to see her energetic self soon. Well, apart from the unexpected quick recovery of Himari and having Sanetoshi being her savior, the remaining of the episode shed some light about the past and added more uncertainties about the premise of the story.

Sanetoshi took the limelight this week. Basically, it’s filled with his monologues and whatnot. It’s not boring, but this episode certainly lacks the humor. Does it mean we have entered a darker and more serious second half? I’m cool with whichever the show’s direction may go because I only want to know what is the penguin drum. It has been mentioned since the first episode, but up till now we’re not getting any closer to actually knowing what it is.

There was this girl that Sanetoshi mentioned sharing the same kind of eyes. Who is the girl? Is she even important? Could she be Momoka? She had the sort of haircut. Is Momoka even alive? Whoever that is, I’m sure we will know soon enough. Apart from this mysterious girl, the other girl Sanetoshi apparently has contact with is none other than the super insane stalker Natsume. I guess he’s the person Natsume’s always talking with on the phone. I really wished that that other person on the line is Yuri. It’s so unfair, Sanetoshi! You’re like helping Natsume and totally ignoring the Takakura siblings.

I’ve been thinking. Since Kanba looks a lot like his father so he must be the actual son while Shoma is not. That is if I understand correctly the conversation that took place in previous episode whereby the hospital informed the dad that there was a boy. Also, one of the reasons Himari left school in many episodes before could be because her parents are criminals. Besides her illness, that is.

Let’s just say that Mawaru Penguindrum still has its magic, keeping us (or me) on the suspense every week after 13 weeks. We’re not getting any closer to the answer but we’re definitely heading towards it.

So…..wanna guess who’s the other person with the other half of the Fate diary?
