Linkin Park Visit Ishinomaki With Save The Children

I thought this video would be an interesting share here.

The video featuring Linkin Park coming along to Ishinomaki City together with the charity organisation called Save The Children.

Ishinomaki is one of the city that devastated by the wrath of tsunami that hit Japan several months ago. It seems that life activities have been back to almost normal even though the place are still in massive destruction. Some thing about Japanese people who I respect is they get up and recover very fast.

$330,000.00 Was Donated To Help Japan

A sum of money worth USD $ 330,000.00 was donated to help relief the disasters that hit the Japanese people. This video coverage is a good thing because at least we know that the donation made by us (Did you donate to Japan relief fund?) did actually received by the Japanese people to ease their burden.

The Students Undergo The Earthquake Protection Simulation

The Students Undergo The Emergency Evacuation Plan

These are the students from Teizan Elementary School. They are practicing on what to do when there’s an earthquake. I remember looking at this scene in one of the old manga I’ve read, Chibimaruko. So this thing actually happen in life. So far as I remember, our school never do such thing except for Fire Emergency Escape Plan simulation and we were scolded badly both from our headmaster and the chief fireman because we failed the simulation.

One of the items that have been donated to the children in this area is this cute pink back pack. Lol. I wonder if the boys like it too.  The red hood to cover the child’s head was also donated by the organisation and Linkin Park.

The team then move to visit the Ishinomaki Kita High School with some native African performance doing some dance and beats. Each of the student are given a drums and it seems that they’re having fun together. Perhaps this is one of the way to help the teenagers to reduce the stress and trauma after being hit by such natural disaster.

The school hold about 600 students and 200 of them are losing their home sweet home. 600 students for a school is quite small number. How about the number of students in your high school? Last time my high school hold about 3000 students per semester and we have 6 classes for every level which hold around 30 – 40 students in one class.
