Bushiroad has kind enough to release Milky Holmes Weiss Schwarz Extra Pack, titled as “The Phantom Thieves Strikes Back.” From the title itself, most of the cards are “Thief (怪盗)” trait, but I’m so glad that i bring it home, cards are pretty. There are 6 packs in a box, and each pack consist of 6 cards. This time i didn’t manage to get any sign card but a bunch of Holofoil cards, Some of the foil cards have different art than the normal one. In fact, i can build a new deck consist of only Thief trait, combining cards from the booster box bought last time.

These holofoil cards have different illustration from the normal one, the right side is foil cards

There are two type of tickets (silver and gold bag) for you to exchange goodies such as playing mat, sleeve, deck case and more at your nearest shop. Since i got a gold bag ticket, i can exchange with 1 playing mat. Normally you require 3 Silver Bag for 1 playing mat.

Finally i got my hand on these vanguard promo cards. It was suppose to come together with the Kerokero Ace Magazine in August Issue, but i missed that, end up the magazine has been sold out everywhere. Well, thanks to a friend, i still managed to get it but without the magazine since we get it from Yahoo Auction Japan. The box come together with 2 playing mat and 2 different decks. Nova Grappler and Royal Paladin. 25 cards each. Not just that, it also come with one Monster Collection PR card.

So why i want these PR cards so badly?It’s for the sole purpose of one cards, the Genocide Joker to be added into my current Nova Grappler deck. Some of the cards are different illustration with the cards i have, but it’s effect still the same.

Effect: Counterblast 2, plus 4K to it’s power during this turn, and it can be spam, as long as i can pay the cost, it’s attack power still can be increase.

Synopsis: The black swindler Kaiki Deishu, who once deceived Hitagi, returns to town and spreads the incantation which cursed Nadeko before.

And the producers are SHAFT, so that means some good work is coming! As the for the trailer itself, I guess short hair is the new thing. Kitemura, Eri and Iguchi Yuka will be the main seiyuus!! But, the rest of the cast is not bad either, they’re really, really good!

They Are Girl Rock Band

From the picture above, from the left is Tomomi (Bassist & Vocal), Haruna (Guitar & Vocal), Rina (Drummer) and Mami (Lead Guitar)

Obviously they are girls, beautiful enough. But let me tell, they are not media or polished up band like other kind who have been selected by a producers, label or studio and form up a good-looking, complete package girl band.

From reading how they actually started, I think they are pure and full of talent.

They started as an indie band back in their home town, Osaka. Taking music seriously they perform as much and as frequent they can until one day a small record company offer to produce their first début before they signed on major label, Sony Music.

They Have Wings To Fly To International Arena

Even though it will be obviously their fan outside the world of Japan are the people who love Japan Pop Culture like us. But it’s an achievement, just compare how many other band, or just a vocal group are making it a big event such as Asia Tour and even a concert in America? Not much. I tell you, we can count them with one hand. (1 hand only have 5 fingers, got what I mean?)

Their Latest Album Appealing To Me

I am definitely not a Scandal fan before even though I know of their existence. They look like they have been polished up by the major label, in short I think they’re faking it up.

But after I see how they perform live and listening to their tracks on their latest album Baby Action, I started to like them and tell you what I cannot deny I am already their fan!

How about you? Have you ever heard about them or have you been long time Scandal fans?

Another Meaning of Scandal To Me

These girls represent another dream for me. For a dream to come true, reading back their biography, how they take actions, commitments, sacrifice their teen time, instead of having fun around which bring nothing in the end, they build up their career and success.

Beside Nirvana with their album, Nevermind. Scandal is like my third inspiration! (The first one is Linkin Park, but that’s different stages. )

Haruna Ono

I like Haruna Ono!

It’s like love at first sight, I just instantly fall for her.

Beside she’s the leader of the band, vocalist, guitarist and was born in 1988. (These 4 specifications match me 100%)

Who do you like among them?

2nd one I like is Tomomi and then Rina. Too bad, I don’t have any feeling for Mami, the lead guitarist yet. But I do like her guitar skill.

They sing K-ON! song too!

But I still prefer Yoko Hikasa (Mio) vocal over Scandal girls. Well, the first we hear is the greatest wasn’t it.

Some of their live performance. Love Survive. They have the music video as well but it seems it have been vanished from YouTube because of a copyright claim from Sony Music.

Please note: If you’re play music you’ll find out that they don’t really “play live”. Well, from my observation it’s common for Japanese artist. Now, it seems that Houkago Tea Time (K-ON!) are not that “guilty”.

Some More Facts

They admit it that they wrote their own lyric but the song (music) was composed by a composer.

This is from my observation, Haruna is using Fender Telecaster, Mami is using Fender Stratocaster, Tomomi bass? I’m not sure. The drum kit used by Rina? It’s Pearl and her cymbals kit are made by Zildjian, a good one. They used Marshall amp, for Mami’s amp, I’m sure it’s from JVM head with 12×4 Speaker cabinet. Cool stuffs that they’ve used there.
