My my, what a great fanservice episode. Girls in Swimsuits is unavoidable when it comes to beach episode. Subaru in her swimsuit is the cutest girl among them all. Somehow all the girls are there giving the fanservice to the max. Not to mention that Kanade is really going for full force as well. Just look at some of the things that she really can do. She is just too explosive. Kanade is really owning there…
Kanade is running away from home due to something that has not yet been revealed. And so, they enjoyed their vacation at the sea and stayed at some hotel. She stayed with Kinjirou in the same room thus giving a great fanservice as well. Kinjirou is just a lucky guy. He even almost kissed by Kanade if Subaru didn’t interfere with the great timing.
She is just irresistible. Anyway with that pass by, they went to the beach, Yay! It’s fan service time again. Kanade taking this oppurtinity to exploit Kinjirou more and somehow made Subaru a little bit unhappy with it.
Well, at least Kinjirou did not chickening out this time. He’s willingly to put the sun screen lotion on Kanade’s back(LUCKY!). Kinjirou found the others working part time at the shacks nearby. For some reason they seperated from their sempai, chased by shark and they end up at the beach.
Subaru almost has been found out when she and Kanade is going to get Kinjirou. Due to that, they made up some lies. Almost everybody didn’t realize it was Subaru except Usami. Do this mean that Usami loves for Subaru is greater? Anyway, somehow Usami and Kanade having a showdown, I mean quarrel. Both of them really persistent to win. Usami mention that she is really closed friend to Kinjirou that even he eats home made food that Usami made at her house and also showing her swimsuit in front of him first with a little bit of hug!!! Thats totally freaking lucky. Kanade also tell Usami that she even sleep with Kinjirou. How lucky was that! Oh wait, Subaru ran in the middle of the quarrel. Kinjirou chased after him and receive a punch at his stomach, how unlucky is that. Well, it must be balanced because if you get too much of the good stuff, you will also get something bad to balanced things up. Good for Kinjirou.
When thing settle up between Kinjirou and Subaru, they return to the shacks. There we can see a Usagi, I mean Usami doing the hoping bunny stuff. How cute is that! Well, Kanade shows how superior she is and made her to do the hoping bunny.
All the girls are allowed to stay at the Kanade’s accommodation. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Nagare which is Subaru’s father come to pick Kanade to return home. Kanade and Subaru refuse to do so and ignores Nagare. Before it end, at Subaru eyes, somehow look sad while looking up at the mountain. I’m guessing that she really miss her mom and nearby, there is her mother grave. Well at least all turns out to be find and there live happily ever after, medetashi medetashi… I think. . . Somehow I realize that I ignored the existence of Nakuru and Kureha this time. They are pretty cute in their swimsuit. But when it compares to Subaru, Subaru definitely more moe~

Well thats all for now, and for the next episode, we will know more about Subaru’s past. Stay tune!

Posted: 22 Aug 2011 06:01 AM PDT Whoa…that's one hell of a way to start an episode – with a perverted Ringo fantasizing about her first night with Tabuki. And then soon after, Mawaru Penguindrum introduces Project M. I'm pretty sure it's the first time I've heard of it. I have no idea what is it but I'm very sure it isn't Project Marriage as Shōma puts it. This episode is dedicated to exploring Ringo's past. How she obtains her little pink diary, or now I refer to as Fate Diary, and how she became obsessed with it and Tabuki. Apparently, Ringo has an older sister called Momoka who owned the diary. Now, whether Momoka wrote the diary or she picked it up from elsewhere is another question. But I'll leave it for the anime to tell us as now we've too much puzzles to solve as it is. At least, we're clear that the reason why Ringo so fervently trying to accomplish each task in the Fate Diary is only cuz she just wants her happy life back. She mistakenly thought that by achieving each goal written in the Fate Diary, her happiness will eventually return. I really feel for her but after seeing how she's "initiating" her first night with Tabuki, the feeling was all gone. Enough of Ringo, let's talk about the other villain. Natsume is building up reputation quickly as the badass "paintball" shooter. Does she have some sort of a grudge against Kanba? I feel like she's picking on him. What exactly is their relationship? Asami mentioned she saw a guy when she was pushed. Was it Kanba? Even if it is really Kanba, why on earth Natsume needs to erase the memory of the other two girls? I don't get it. Can anyone shed some light on this one? Anyways, I'll place my bet saying that Natsume is also searching for the mysterious Penguin Drum. In fact, I'll say that whoever owns a penguin is searching for the infamous Penguin Drum except for Himari. Poor girl, she's still clueless about everything. There's still a long way to go for this series, so there's nothing solid build up as to what it is. Most of us previously guessed it was the Fate Diary. After watching past couple of episodes, I'm starting to have doubts. Oh wait, did I mention I like how Natsume's penguin takes after her looks? Or am I the only one thinking our new friend here looks like her owner? This week's episode is pretty good actually. Although I'm beginning to think that Mawaru Penguindrum is overusing the word "fate" in this episode. It's a bit overwhelming. I hear the word "運命" like every 5 seconds or so. Okay, that's a bit exaggerating but I think I'm pretty close. Since it is the anime's theme, I suppose I'll just have to deal with it. Also, they either slot in "Seizon Senryaku" to waste a couple of minutes or it's just for the fans. It's a pointless session. I was half expecting Shōma to climb back up or something. Alright then. Those ramblings and rants above summarize what's on my mind for this episode. And, where is Himari??? |
