Shinsengumi Kagura Cosplay

Here’s my latest cosplay photography. This one is Kagura from the Gintama series. But if you notice, her outfit was rather different from her usual red, China style outfit. In this version, she’s wearing a Shinsengumi uniform. I can’t remember from which Gintama episode she appear with this outfit. Anyway, cosplayer was Chiaki. She really love this particular character. Mayo Chiki 04 – Chicken catch a cold~

Hi there its been a while. Lets continue for the review shall we.

Review

This time Chicken, I mean Kinjirou catch a cold. For spice things up, Subaru got a fight with his father because of the incident on the other day where chicken “Kinjirou” become a punching bag by Subaru’s father. Enough with the chicken stuff. Well, whats surprise about this episode, there’s also fanservice and tear-jerking moment.

Subaru go to Kinjirou house and become his butler for a day because she got a fight with his father. Well, with that on the sight what do you expect for a girl go to guys house and there’s only two of them in the house! It’s a fan-service time!!!

There’s a tons of fan-service in this episode, hmm… maybe not that much, but it really is worth. For starter, there’s a bath-scene this time. Yay! Subaru enters a bath with Kinjirou and take a bath together? What the…. Well, it’s a butler duty to scrub her master back! Kinjirou sure is a lucky. Well, the most lucky moment is when she hug Kinjirou from the back during the bath time, gives the soft sensation to Kinjirou’s back. Again, that lucky bastard did it again…

Well, the next storm is coming, where Kinjirou sister, Kureha comes back just after she went from a camp because of the injuries. I found that moment was quite amusing. Kureha forcefully open the door right after she saw Subaru’s bra and panties. Well, for the moment I think that she loves his brother too much where she can’t even accepts any dirty relationship.

The next thing is Kanade shows herself and suggesting that she want to become a maid at Kinjirou house and have a showdown in that house, and of course more fanservice. The hear-throbbing moment of fan-service is where Kanade and Subaru giving a very nice hospitality towards Kinjirou, which is one of it is apple time. Kanade and Subaru mouth-feeding Kinjirou the apples. What a lucky person he is!!!~~

Kinjirou collapsed just before Subaru want to mouth-feeds him. Kinjirou catch a cold. That leaves Kureha crying thinking that Kinjirou would leave her for good. Well I like the soft side of Kureha. Kureha has a bad past where one of her family members leaves her for good when she was young. Same goes for Subaru too when her mother died. What a tear-jerking moment. Kinjirou only catch a normal cold and that doesn’t kill him.

Despite having a cold, Kinjirou force himself to make things right. He help Subaru to restore her relation with her father. Although there is moment when Kinjirou almost gonna pass out, he still insist on doing so. He is a good person. Well, that’s one way to show how cool a guy is. Good job Kinjirou. In the end, Kinjirou collapsed again and this time Subaru catch him and hug him. This shows that Subaru really got feelings for Kinjirou more than just a mere friend. One thing that doesn’t make sense to me, why Subaru’s father, Nagare live in a tent? He got kick out from the main house or something? Weird…

The last scene was a bit unexpected for me where Kanade kiss Kinjirou plus an indirect confession from her too. I’m so envy with that. What a lucky guy! Well, it turns out to find and they live happily ever after, medetashi medetashi~
