Mayo Chiki episode 1 & 2

Review

That was unusual name of an anime. It is based on the name of the food. Chicken mayonnaise/ mayonnaise chicken, whatever they called it. Well, it is an unique name.

Another anime full with fan service and comedy and romance moments. It is center around Sakamachi Kinjirou. He found out Konoe Subaru secret, which is she is actually a girl due to some unavoidable accident. Kinjirou has some odd allergy which is he cant be touch by the girl which can cause him a strong nosebleed. Due to all of that circumstance, Kinjirou’s life change. In order to cure his illness, Kinjirou will undergo a special training under Suzutsuki Kanade. Sakatzuki Kanade is an ojousama, who also own a butler which is Subaru.

Konoe Subaru is good looking butler who is strong and good looking as well. It is a bit surprise to see a girl to act like a perfect butler. She is unbelievably strong as well and a good fighter too. Her girl form is quite cute and lovely. She is full with moe elements. I really love the scene where she imitates the sheep sounds in episode 2 which is really moe! Her longer looks also quite adorable. She is my favorite character for this series so far. I think she looks way better in her girl form rather than her butler form. Very cute.

The corny meeting between Subaru and Kinjirou really made the shows live up to my expectation which is very hilarious. He ran away which makes things more unexpected, in the end he knows her secret. Kinjirou body is strong and can receive a strong impact from somebody kick or punch. He is like a punch bag by a lot of people, especially his family which him a strong body. His mother and his sister is good at wrestling. Becoming a punch bag makes him feared women and rises his awareness to women which leads to girls phobia and uncommon illness/allergy(nosebleed when girls touch him. It feels like this is the reverse of Goshushou-sama Ninomiyakun. Girls from that series is a man phobia which is reversed from this series the main protagonist is a girls-phobia.

Suzutsuki Kanade is indeed the most beautiful girl in the school plus she is an ojousama. But her personality change my thought about her. She is a sadistic girl who enjoy the pleasure of watching others suffers. She likes it because it is fun. So, I think Konoe is better.

I like the moment where a couple of group introduced in episode 2. 4S, Shooting Star Subaru Sama. Subaru is really a wonderful person, to be admired by some girls, truly amazing. Another group that oppose them is a group of Fujoshi who like Yaoi genre. Very funny…

There’s a couple of fan service that you can enjoyed as well. The censorship is quite ok too. So far, I satisfy with their work in this part so far. I think Kinjirou nosebleed is the right thing to do after all those fan service made by Konoe. Damn, maybe I will get the nosebleed too. Fanservice overload especially in the 2nd episode.

The Op and the Ed is match with the theme, and I like it.
