Yuru Yuri. MOE-ness Level Overdose? K-ON! + Oreimo = Yuru Yuri |
Yuru Yuri. MOE-ness Level Overdose? K-ON! + Oreimo = Yuru Yuri Posted: 09 Jul 2011 06:17 AM PDT Yuru Yuri have their own secret recipes. Well, no. They are not! I can taste it clearly that they were made up of K-ON! and a little of Oreimo. Tell me which part I’m wrong with the solid proof? No? You can’t, I knew it. Hence, I’ve make a deduction that the people behind this use this formula. K-ON! + Oreimo + (X + Y) = Yuru Yuri The X + Y is some other element that yet to be discovered. This is Akari, she’s represent Yui in K-ON! Why I strongly believe that this is a derivation from K-ON! is because the first episode starts the same way just like K-ON! the 1st season, 1st episode where the main character waking up late on going to the first day of school. See? But I’m glad that this derivation is a good one and not a failure parody. LOL
Self explained, there’s some yuri action involved. There’s Ui the yandere imouto in K-ON! so do they in Yuru Yuri but I am not sure yet who is her name nor face, perhaps for someone who read the manga, they know it. But for me, I never care about the manga.
Nodoka equivalent, she wants to become the student council and I bet she did it. Exactly like K-ON! this is an all girls school. Woo…
Again, same like K-ON! in a room where the clubs are about to be disbanded. But they make a different derivation where they established a new club over the disbanded tea club. Another yuri action. The blond coloured hair represent Ritsu or Kirino. Actually I think they combine both character into this new character called Kyoko. She is crazy like Ritsu and also manga doujinshi author like Kirino. Why I said Kyoko is Ritsu? Just look at the screenshot above and you will recall similar scenes in K-ON!. By that, I know you can guess who’s that short hair girl. She’s Yui, ironicly using that name, she’s Mio equivalent.
Ah, gome ne. I forgot who’s this character name. She’s a character that Kyoko‘s doujinshi all about. Same like in Oreimo, Kirino also like this loli little sister witch like character. She is the Mugi equivalent, Chinatsu… or? There’s no Mugi and she’s actually Azunyan? Look at her twin-tail and she like Yui (Mio) just the same. But why we can say she’s Mugi is where in K-ON! Mugi thought the club was a choir club and want to join, just the same in Yuru Yuri where Chinatsu thought the club was the tea club but happen to be the so called “Amusement Club”. Kawaii!!! I’m just about to explode, do you? They take the same element again. Remember where Yui like to hug Azunyan? But they swith it with Kyoko instead. Overall, this series did not disappointed me. No, there’s no real storyline again, just like K-ON!. No objective, no nothing. Just Yuri Yuri. Did you watch this series or? What’s your opinion? |
Posted: 09 Jul 2011 05:46 AM PDT On July 2nd 2011, Nokia Theatre Los Angeles California presented for the very first time in the United States; an evening with Hatsune Miku. She is a VOCALOID (Vocal + Android). In my visit to the Anime Expo prior years, many women would cosplay as the digital diva, but as for myself not knowing a lot about her. So this is a real treat for me and especially for it's fans. Definitely the big draw for the Anime Expo (AX) 2011! I'm sure when this act was announced, the question would be; will the U.S. accept a virtual pop star? After the night ended, it was a big YES! Miku appears on a reflective screen in the middle of the stage. The human band members play to the side of her. The only other band that comes close to this style of presentation is the Gorillaz. She looks like an anime character, but her dance moves are so lifelike that there almost is something human about her. From the many costume changes, there is never a dull moment. It was quite a view how the fans participated with the concert. Before I entered the stage area, there were a few individuals selling glow sticks, and they were going quickly. From the small research I have done of the concerts in Japan, the glow stick is quite the norm for the audience. How they swing the sticks in a synchronise fashion is really a pleasure to be a part of. Other Vocaloid characters appeared; Kagamine Len and Rin, the audience roared. Which tells me that they can probably carry their own concert. Itoh Hiroyuki, the person behind the Vocaloid's. This person may have started a new trend in the states, and if it catches on, this was the night that started it. Here's more info about Hatsune Miku: "A digital diva famous worldwide for her ankle-length aqua-colored pigtail and distinctive voice, Hatsune Miku will light up the stage at Nokia Theater on July 2nd in her U.S. live concert debut presented by The Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation, Crypton Future Media, Inc., SEGA Corporation, Tokyo Kawaii Magazine (ASCII Media Works) and Toyota Motor Sales, USA." "Created by Crypton Future Media, Inc. in 2007, Hatsune Miku's voice is synthesized using Yamaha's VOCALOID (= Vocal + Android) software application, to produce a fully synthetic voice with unprecedented quality and remarkable realism by typing in lyrics and setting a melody. To date, her voice has been featured in more than 100,000 songs and videos created and shared by fans worldwide. She has been sampled in CDs, DVDs, games, novels, and figures and her sell-out, computer-graphic-driven live performances have become legendary. Attesting to her unique star power, Toyota selected Hatsune Miku to star in a U.S. ad campaign for the 2011 Corolla." |
